Youth, experience and... lots of artistry ...
from 14 to 17 December 2015, thanks to the Erasmus + program, at the CONSMUPA's
Tuba and Euphonium Studio we enjoyed the lessons and advices of Laimonas Masevičius,
superb tuba player and tireless hard worker ...
During these four days, Laimonas held several
group sessions in which he offered an overview of the main technical aspects of
tuba playing and several individual sessions in which each and every one of the
course participants had the opportunity to interpret different representative
works of the tuba repertoire and some orchestral excerpts, applying all the
suggestions that Professor Laimonas Masevičius had about their playing.
From the very beginning the relationship with
Laimonas was warm and fluid, taking advantage of the breaks to exchange views
on many aspects related to both the teaching and interpretation of the tuba as
with those of our profession vicissitudes. It was a fantastic week, a great
chance to see with new eyes, musics thousand times heard ... we all learned a
lot ... Thanks Laimonas your master class has been a gift....

Juventud, experiencia… y maestría…
del 14 al 17 de diciembre de 2015, gracias al programa Erasmus+, en el Aula de
Tuba y Bombardino del CONSMUPA pudimos disfrutar con las clases y los consejos
de Laimonas Masevičius, magnifico tubista y trabajador incansable…
A lo largo de estos cuatro días,
Laimonas realizó varias sesiones colectivas en las que nos ofreció una visón
general de los principales aspectos técnicos relacionados con la tuba y varias
sesiones individuales en las que todos y cada uno de los asistentes al curso
tuvieron la oportunidad de interpretar obras representativas del repertorio
para tuba y diferentes solos orquestales, aplicando en todo momento las
sugerencias que al respecto aportaba el profesor Laimonas.
Desde el primer momento la
relación con Laimonas fue cálida y fluida, aprovechando los descansos para
intercambiar opiniones acerca numerosos aspectos relacionados tanto con la
enseñanza y la interpretación de la tuba como con las vicisitudes propias de
nuestra profesión. Ha sido una semana fantástica, una oportunidad para ver con
nuevos ojos músicas mil veces escuchadas… hemos aprendido mucho… Gracias
Laimonas tus clases han sido un regalo….
